Internet Explorer 8 and IE9 browsers have surpassed the combined usage share announced by Google last month. But the matter may be moot because IE once again lost ground to Google's Chrome and Apple's Safari. IE8 and IE9 boosted their combined global usage shares by 0.45%, and he compared that to what he called Chrome's increase of just 0.19%
