Typo "ctor" at:
"At a first sight, this may seem inconvenient, but a closer look reveals why this is so: If the vector contained objects of a user-defined class, reserve() wouldn't call any ctor. Accessing a not-yet-constructed object has undefined results and is a no-no in any case."

This is very thorough I love it! Can you write one for cin object? It always seems that the reference for cin always misses some of the important things... Especially like why does repeated calls to a cin cause simple programs to do unexpected things... I really wanted to learn how io with hardware works but I feel like That's not going to happen until I have a better understanding of what cin is doing behind the scenes.. including it's error states!
