    Smile MDX Issue

    Guys,

For a complete Managed DirectX 9 download ? do i have to download the the directx installation file from the past together with all the updates?

Or i just have to download the latest Managed DirectX 9 June 2005 Update will do ? because i found out that in comparison to the directX, many samples are missing?

Please advise and guide me to download the full complete version of Direct X 9 for Managed Code..

    Thank You

    Re: MDX Issue

The updates are fully functioning SDKs complete with docs, examples, and runtimes/headers/libs. There's plenty of examples included too.

Hmm. You've got wondering what the difference is (besides the filesize obviously) between the initial SDK release and the updates. I wonder if it is the VS.NET 2003 documentation (for the IDE)? I never missed it because I have the full MSDN collection on disk.

Maybe someone else will chime in and enlighten us.

    Regards.

P.S. The MDX9 application framework seriously owns.

Bad news. There's no managed DirectShow library...which explains the lack of examples.

You'll have to look elsewhere if you require it to be a managed library.

    Regards.
