Re: how to migrate seagate 8.5 to crysta reports 10 version
I want it too... but it's not easy...
What is you're language (VB, VC++,...) I'm in VC++ and i'm trying to use 2 solutions: - RDC (with COM) - Managed object, but my application is in unmanaged code :-( and I can't link a managed dll to an unmanaged exe). My appliction run without problems in SQL but doesn't work at all with access db (throu ODBC). All samples from CR are VB !!! so I hope you are in VB...

Re: how to migrate seagate 8.5 to crysta reports 10 version
Crystals are generally backwards compatible, so most of the time you'll be able to run a report created in v8.5 from an installation of v10 with no conversion at all.
You might experience your reports' alignments being slightly off. |
