system recovery design using c#, sql

Hi,

I am using c# and sql to design a system support function (windows).
the function has to perform content recovery to its last known stable state.
does anyone has a sample design or how to go about design the system?
what are the parameters needed for the status?
do i store the status in the sql or just a normal text file?

anyone has any suggestions?

Pretty hard to guess what the requirements are. Every project has to start somewhere. Get the details, and plan it out, whatever it might be
