Someone made a software to convert a pdf file to swf file. However, the process sometimes was not successful. For example, it might be false when converting some Japanese characters. The client asked us to know if there was something wrong or not. I am not sure it is a good idea to compare data in pdf file and swf file. Can anyone share me any idea to do it, please? I appreciate your help so much.

You should be asking the person who wrote the software, not us. We know nothing about the code or implementations.

The issue here is that how to compare a pdf file and swf file. It is easier to improve the code. However, client want us to write another software to find the difference. I hope there is algorithm or solution to do it.

Kind of like an apple, and, maybe a truck. PDF is not like a SWF movie

Not in this case...PDF to SWF conversion is rather common. Basically allows for online viewing without the use of Adobe Reader's plugin. But, you need the Adobe Flash plugin. In my mind it's pointless, but to others, for some strange reason, it's not.
