SQA ENGINEER
Our client is recruiting SQA Engineers for future available positions to join their in-house SQA team. Successful candidates will be able to take the lead on projects and carry them out to completion with minimal supervision, ensuring that quality requirements are met. Candidates must have a solid understanding of SQA processes, especially within an Agile environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop, review and execute test plans for a wide range of applications and technologies including Web, Telephony and SOA Investigate, report and help resolve test failures
Evaluate testing tools (functional, automated, load), and assist with implementation
Requirements:
5+ years of software QA experience
Comprehensive knowledge of software testing processes, methodologies, and best practices
Experience testing web-based applications Experience configuring and debugging QA environments
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Must be a self-starter who works equally well independently and in a team environment
Additional Skills & Experiences:
Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:
Experience with Webload, Selenium, Jmeter or other open source testing tools
Experience testing databases to include writing queries to extract data
Experience with Agile software development
