Our client is looking for Web Designers who will work remotely and perhaps you're the right candidate. We need someone who is passionate about design and the design process. Qualified candidates will be more creative than technical and have a strong portfolio of websites to present.
Web Designer (Remote)
Responsibilities:
Design web site interfaces from wifreframe sketches
Produce a variety of visual designs for one design problem quickly
Work with the internal team to ensure that an explicit customer focus is maintained throughout project execution
Effectively present designs and extract feedback from non-designers
Effectively interact with development and technology teams
Work under deadlines generating innovative design concepts
Qualifications:
Experience producing high quality website designs
Design studio experience preferred and considered a plus
A portfolio with at least five strong examples of website designs (no developer turned designers)
Experience designing both HTML and Flash-based designs
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator
Ability to focus on aesthetics, user-interface, information architecture, and usability
Ability to sketch multiple ideas quickly and communicate design rationale
Ability to articulate thinking behind a design concept or user experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
Experience with, but not a focus on, HTML, CSS and JavaScript a plus
Ability to design for cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility
Commitment to high standards of quality.
