SQLite query match exact word in phrase

The following will return all occurrances of "word" even something like "password." However, I only want the exact word match. Any ideas?

SELECT * FROM paragraphs WHERE paragraph LIKE '%word%'

Well, in a rush, I just added a couple of OR statements for a comma, period, and exclamation mark.
