Flash tutorial

Hello I am a newbieof web programing
I am learning Flash
I am learning Action cript
And I don't know about Action cript much
Is there a general methodology/phylosophy/basic steps of what Action cript is all about as well as how it is used ?

Please remember to search before posting. A simple Google search on "actionscript tutorial" would have returned plenty of information for you.

ActionScript is very similar to JavaScript. If you know the basics of JavaScript, you're already set for the basics of ActionScript.

I like the 3 link, it is very easy to understand. I am looking for such information, not about flowery windy message to mainly show off writing skills and words used. Those words are not often used in daily life anyway.
