Hello.
I have a site, now I'd like to have a complete Noframes version as well. What I'd like to know is:
if I include a link to a different version of the page(s) inside Noframes on the main page, will it be sufficient?
Do I really need to remake the entire site - navigation etc. ?
if i make use of Javascript for menus, what is the possibility of the menus displaying in noframes browsers?
What would be the correct way to go about this?
Any advice would be helpful.

if I include a link to a different version of the page(s) inside Noframes on the main page, will it be sufficient? It would, for the browsers that don't support frames. The rest (IE, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Konqueror, etc.) will load the frame version. If you would like to migrate to a nonframe version then you will have to rewrite the pages.
if i make use of Javascript for menus, what is the possibility of the menus displaying in noframes browsers? There are 5 browsers which have problems with frames: WorldWideWeb, Mosaic, Dillo, Lynx and Amaya (the "most used" of these 5 is Lynx I suppose). And none of these supports JS.

Honestly, there is no reason to code for the lack of frame support. That accounts for less than 0.26% of all web traffic.

Thank you very much. So you would you suggest that I rather use "normal links" instead of JS menus inside my noframes version?

I'm saying, you shouldn't code for a noframes version of your site...period. There just isn't a need for it anymore.
What do you mean by "normal links?"

OK, coming from such a reputable person as yourself, I'll follow your advice PeejAvery.
Thank you!

From what I have seen of Xeel's posts...they are very good quality as well. He has been a great help in the forums also!
