Hi all,
I have a project which requires me to detect the outside noise of an environment using a microphone and then adjust the output volume accordingly. I am using C++ under Windows XP and I'm attempting to rely on the WIN API only as opposed to using external libraries/wrappers if possible.
Does anyone know if it can be done and could possibly point me in the right direction. I've been playing around with MCI for days but can't see a solution.
Much appreciated all :)
