VB 2008, Movie maker bug?

I need someone to confirm this possible bug after installing 2008.

The movie maker 2(2.1 really), allows you to place text titles over the video. Directly after installing 2008, I can no longer change the title's duration to smaller than 2:25 seconds. The problem is that after uninstalling 2008, the problem still continues.

I found the problem.

For some reason the titles animations are defaulting to fade in/out.
Normally, they default to basic title, which can be changed to a lesser duration. Something changed behavior, and it's not me.
