Hi,
I have a device that sends a dhcp discover message to a Cisco ASA device, which then sends the dhcp offer message but the client does not respond to that offer. The client is an wireless Access Point, that is running VxWorks. When I did the capture on the client side, the Dhcp offer message option order is different from the dhcp server. Does the option order matter at all, which I think is not. Could anyone please help me on this issue.
The issue, the client sends the dhcp discover message, with the parameter list in the options
The dhcp server sends the dhcp offer message, with the options
the client still sending the discover message, it should send the dhcp request message.
Any help is appreciated, for windows client its accepting the offer, but the client running vxworks, has a problem.
