In case anyone is interested: www.GeeksWithBlogs.net/TheCPUWizard kirants September 30th, 2008, 12:48 PM I don't. But sometimes I have found useful information, solutions in blogs ( not just the geeky sorts, but blogs in general ). I just don't it because I personally cannot handle lot of information. MrViggy September 30th, 2008, 01:17 PM I don't, either. Working in front of a computer all day makes me not want to read stuff on the screen when I get home. I prefer face to face "social networking", ah-la the local brewery or sports bar! :D Viggy dglienna September 30th, 2008, 03:14 PM I post occasionally, after I read something that I'm interested in, or to correct something. I don't have my own, other than one that I did on LIVE.com a few years ago. Probably hard to find? I've posted a few times only. VictorN September 30th, 2008, 04:06 PM I don't... GremlinSA September 30th, 2008, 04:58 PM Nope I dont.. However i do have a facebook account for work (Facebook application development) but i have not used it for social networking.. Thu October 1st, 2008, 06:03 AM Social Network is like a English writing practice after observing online users in forums, reading people's psychology in sicko blogs HairyMonkeyMan October 1st, 2008, 06:44 AM I post very occasionally on hairy.gnn.tv CBasicNet October 3rd, 2008, 03:51 AM I blog here (http://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/Profiles.aspx?mid=88591) though not regularly. Bosley16 October 3rd, 2008, 04:43 AM I don't have a blog, cos I don't like writing Edders October 3rd, 2008, 04:57 AM I don't blog, but I do post on a forum. This one to be precise. :) Arjay October 3rd, 2008, 03:28 PM IMO blogging has caused the decline of Msdn content. It used to be (say 5 or 10 years ago), that virtually everything a Windows programmer could ask for was available by searching in Msdn. Now-a-days, it seems that information is spread out more between blogs, forums, and Msdn. What used to be an Msdn article now more or less ends up being on the personal blog of a feature team developer (which makes it much harder to find). It's kind of annoying not to have the information in one place. On the other hand, forum support is way better than in years past, so I guess it's a trade off. TheCPUWizard October 3rd, 2008, 03:48 PM Arjay, You should know that it is always a trade-off os some sort. Remember the days when there was no "online" at all. OR when the concept of even electronic help contained in the application did not exist. The only thing that existed was paper. This had an advantage. I was weasy to read in the restroom, and even possible to access during a an electrical failure. :p :D Regardining the Blog vs. MSDN Arcticle.... To the best of my knowledge, all of the "official" blogs maintained by the plethora of of MSFT employees (team leads, etc) ARE indexed into the MSDN site., as are the MSDN Forums. So I am not sure why you are having any more difficulty searching.... Arjay October 3rd, 2008, 04:36 PM Regardining the Blog vs. MSDN Arcticle.... So I am not sure why you are having any more difficulty searching....I'm not having difficulty because I know how to google - I find forum links in Msdn, but haven't seen all the blog links. Perhaps this has changed recently? Wombat October 5th, 2008, 10:36 PM I do blog, but not on technology or programming stuffs. Pimpya October 7th, 2008, 10:47 PM Someone could give me some benefits of blogs, I don't know what they are all about and what for tossy October 8th, 2008, 01:49 AM I write occasionally, technology related posts.
