I wanted to make this thread so we could discuss what happened in the season premier, but make sure that those who haven't seen it don't get anything spoiled. So, allow me to start with a few observations:

I find it odd that Sylar took Claire's power so early into the season... I thought it would happen eventually, but in the first hour? I feel like since that was such a big deal in the first two seaons, to keep Claire safe, that the ease with which it happend and the consequences not being so great, it kind of negated any major points of the first two seasons. What do you guys think?

Mohinder was freakin' crazy after he injected himself! One of my friends pointed out that he pretty much became a 'bro.' I mean, talking like a horny college frat guy and ripping off Maya's shirt like that? Cmon... what tha really necessary?

I am really looking forward to what this season has in store!!

My fear with this season is that at the end of the season it will be a "do over" result. By this I mean that because we are dealing with the past being changed, the season is likely to end with the 'past being corrected' and thus the entire season is for nothing..... (other than entertainment for us).

As to Clair - My speculation is that copying her power in the first episode is key to the entire season. There were a lot of things said. There was also the impact of Sylar removing the pain factor. I think that is going to allow the Clair character to evolve this season in ways that it hasn't in the past. They have already played on this with her comments about not feeling human without having the pain.

There was also the comment made that Clair can't die. I think that is something that they will come back to, or that they need to explain at some point.

One of the frustrating things I found (and I might have mentioned it in the other thread) is that Kiro's attitude of trust is completely different than it has been up to this point. He has been the more trusting person. As such, to go so quickly and easily to distrusting even though he knows the future can be changed seems very odd.

As to Mohinder, I hope they do something more tame with his story like. Right now it seems like they went overboard with it. Sometimes a character in a show is semi-boring; however sometimes that is needed in order to offer balance to a show. Right now it seems they went overboard and extreme with him. We'll see as the story line progresses.

Peter? Again, it seems a bit like the writers are letting the actors play different versions of their character. And his brother.... what's up with that?!

Some good stuff and some goofy stuff. Definitely, however, entertaining.

And future Clair seemed very cool.

I cannot imagine Peter is in some fat guy's body! Hahah. Tomorrow, we got another episode of Heroes coming up. :D

I am watching Heroes with English subtitles because English is not my first language.
