Hi,
I've just recently been re-building my windows machine and have encountered a problem with Tweakui freezing.
I have two versions of Tweakui from two different Powertoy packages. Unfortunately, this time, I forgot I had the newer version, so I installed the older version first, then when I remembered the newer version, I uninstalled the older one (or so I thought) before I installed the new one.
I then found out that the old one hadn't actually been uninstalled, as the control panel still points to it, whereas the new one is available via the start menu. When I try to uninstall the new one via add/remove programs, the uninstallation routine just sits there doing nothing too.
If I make a change to either of them now and try to save the changes, they freeze. The older one worked fine before I tried to do the swap.
Can anyone tell me how I can completely uninstall them both, so I can re-install just the new version without any clashes happening, please?
Debbie
