As the risk of sounding like an advertizement, one of my friends highly recommends the rosettastone software. Ive never used it personally, but its supposed to be quite good as far as giving you a limited working vocabulary / grammar quickly.

What do you mean by you would like to learn complex Chinese? Do you mean the Traditional Chinese used by Hongkongers, Taiwanese and overseas Chinese, as opposed to the Simplified Chinese used in Mainland China and Singapore?
