StormSeer

Ok, so the title is a little misleading. StormSeer Studios is not really a company, but really just a guy ... me. I've been tinkering with a game idea I've had for a while now and have finally decided to start working on it. Sadly, I can't do it myself so I'm out seeking for volunteers :)
About Me
I'm a 25 year old software engineer, mainly C# and .NET stuff. I've been programming for about 12 years now. I am currently employed by a company named Keisense where I work on a predictive text input solution for mobile phones and mobile computers. We specialize in finger touch screen devices ... styli are so yesteryear.. hehe.
I've always wanted to get into coding games. I've been tinkering with ideas and looking into technologies I could use for a couple years now. I'm finally at a point where I feel like I can finally get into creating a game.
About The Game
The game is going to be a 2.5D multiplayer tactical/strategy game (much like Final Fantasy Tactics). Players will be able to battle with and against other players. While you will only be able to battle against other human players, you will be able to recruit NPC sidekicks to battle beside you. Once recruited, the sidekicks will stay with your character forever.
This is just a VERY brief description of the game. If you wish to know, please let me know and I'll be happy to fill you in on more details.
What I'm Looking For
Since this is basically a personal project (for now anyways), I cannot offer any compensation. I'm looking for people who enjoy what they do and are willing to jump in on the creation of a game from the ground up. The time required will not be a lot: maybe 10 - 15 hours a week at most. None of these "positions" require you to have any sort of professional work background.
Developers - Looking for one or two C# developers to help with coding the game. The game will be written using Microsoft's "new" WPF technology. A game of this scope hasn't been written in WPF yet so this could get exciting!
I know this is a developer forum, but here are some of the non-dev related "positions" I'm looking to fill. Maybe someone out there wears multiple hats, or knows someone who's willing to help out?
Concept Artists - This will entail drawing up character, sidekick, and environment sketches. These do not need to be highly detailed.
Artists/Animators - This will require you to create the actual models used in game. These will be 2D and the animations required will be minimal and not all that fancy.
Special Effects - Need some effects created for spells. This would include things like Fire, Lightning, Ice, etc. Once again, nothing fancy is needed here.
Icon Artists - Need to have skill and equipment icons designed. There will not be a butt load of skills so the amount of skill icons shouldn't be too large. A lot of the equipment icons should be able to be reused.
UI Design - I'm trying to keep the UI as simple as possible. Looking for someone who can basically offer suggestions and thoughts. No actual art need be created :)
Website Design - This isn't game related, and is asking a lot so I'm just basically throwing it out there in case someone feels ambitious. I have just registered www.stormseerstudios.com (about an hour ago) and will need it to be designed. I will most likely be using DotNetNuke so this will most likely require skins/customizations to that.
Musician - The game will need music and sound effects. These do not need to be anything fancy. Playing a game without any sound would get rather boring, don't ya think?
Thinkers - I don't know what to call this "position" so I guess thinkers works :) Looking for one or two people who can help me think through the idea more thoroughly. This includes class design and balance, sidekick design, skill design, environment design, etc. Basically just someone (or two) I can brainstorm with :)
I'm basically looking to build a team of volunteers. I know finding this many people willing to work for free is a long shot, but I figured it couldn't hurt to try :) Anyways, If anyone is interested in helping out please do let me know. You can reach me by either sending me a PM here or emailing me at jaylach@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
Thanks a bunch in advance!
