Be responsible for design, development and debugging of Web-based user interface for Seagate Technology in Sunnyvale CA.
The environment makes extensive use of CSS, PHP and Javascript, and is implemented under Apache on Linux. The resulting code must be compatible with a wide variety of browsers. The typical project tasks include working with the Branded Solutions User Experience group to conceive and define the specific UI requirements for a given product, providing guidance on feasibility of potential interface options, and then implementing and debugging the UI on the product. Backend work will include interfacing with various product components on Linux.
Requirements:
· Minimum of ten years experience as a software developer with at least five years of Web-based user interface implementation experience.
· Experience with CSS, PHP and Javascript, implemented under Apache on Linux.
· Educational Requirements: BSCS or equivalent combination of educations and work experience.
