Lines disappearing when exporting to Excel file

I have created a manual cross tab with numerous columns. I have drawn lines to separate the rows and columns. The report looks fine in Crystal XI, but when I export it to a hard disk file and then open the file with Excel, the lines separating the columns and rows do not appear.

Is there a solution for this?

Formatting will be not be displayed when the report
is exported to another format.
