Hi,
I would like to know if crystal reports stand alone version the suitable option based on the following requirements.
1 Ability to connect to different sql server (2000) databases.
2. Once the report is designed ( will be a complex sql query using more than one tables) by an IT member, the end user ( who may not know anything about sql) should be able to run by inputting parameters.
3. Based on the inputted parameters it must use different kinds of joins in query.
4. Ability to run & export the reports on a scheduled basis.
A question:
For complex queries which would be a better option using sql query in the Crystal reports designed or using a stored procedure?
Thanks
