Not sure this is the right place for this question.

Using the WINDDK and the truly awful Minidriver developer tool I have generated a mini driver which I am trying to install under Vista. However I consistenty get the same error, somthing like:

Printer driver was not installed
Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000002).

I *think* that the error relates to access, but I have run this as an administrator and I still get the same error.

I am quite prepared to believe there is a problem in my driver configuration, but I know no way of finding out what. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

I am starting to suspect that the WINDDK is not compatible with Vista, though it is the most recent one I could find.

Cheers

not compatible might just be the word man. this is how Vista is going to be like for another year.
