Paid Developer position in NYC/NJ
Type - Contract (W2 or Corp to Corp) or Full Time available
Contract positions are long term (18months+)
Client - Large Investment Banks
Experience level - Junior/Midlevel/Senior

Detailed Info: to develop strategic software for bank debt contract servicing. The majority of the time will be spent working with the teams in New York and London to build new applications around the proprietary platform.
Development/Computing Environment: Knowledge and at least 4 years of experience developing in an object oriented languages (C++, C# or Java). Relational database, enterprise DBMS experience (i.e.: Sybase, SQL). Working knowledge of UNIX and Windows. XML, HTML, JSP is a plus. Experience with messaging products is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with the user and IT community.
Candidates must feel comfortable interacting with users in different areas of the firm to collect and analyze requirements and solve problems. We provide frontline support for a large and global business. A degree in CS/EE with strong academic performance in a rigorous program. Financial experience is not mandatory, but a passion for learning finance is required. Knowledge of Credit Derivatives is a big plus..
