Hi all,

The Company I work for is a financial spread betting company in London (city). They are looking for a high calibre C++ developer to join the team. They provide clients an online trading platform to trade on the worlds stock markets and are now the leader in their field. The systems are very similar to those used in Investment Banking although the hours are that of a standard working week. The one thing I will say is that they honestly offer a fun and interesting environment and reward their staff both financially and on a career basis as well. Oh and you don't need financial services experience to work here.

Below is the Job outline;

Job Responsibilities:
1.Work on the full software development cycle of backend and frontend applications.
2.Design and implement pricing and control calculations.
3.Administer calculation system components.
4.Interact with other areas of the business to achieve project objectives and to ensure that all completed tasks are effectively implemented.
4.Be involved in business projects, ensuring that all completed tasks are implemented effectively.
5.Provide out of hours support on a rota basis.

Skills needed;
•At least 3 years C++ (including STL, OOD/OOP) on Unix and Windows platforms (80/20).
•Experience in designing distributed multi-processing and multi-threading client/server computing components in multi-platform environment.
•A minimum of 1 year’s experience in design of GUI client applications for client/server solutions.
•Experience of maintenance and enhancement of existing software.
•1 year’s experience providing 1st or 2nd line support of mission critical systems.

Basically they love people that don't just code but take pride in making beautifal code, which is why I thought of you guys, i.e people that follow P.O.S.H and A List Apart mentality!

They are offering from 40K - 60K dependent on experience and have very good bonuses and benefits.

Sorry for the hard sell guys but I get on well at work and would love to help out.

Please let me know if any of are interested?

LMC, x
