Overlapping controls

hi,
I've created a dialog box, in which I've a list box which occupies the entire dialog box. I've created some buttons on top of the list box. Initially all buttons are invisible. At one particular instance, I want to make all buttons visible. It is coming. But the buttons are not firing the event, In the sense, if I click on button since the list box is on top of buttons the event is delivered to list box. I've tried with BringWindowToTop function. Please help me in this, since it is very urgent
