Hello dudes,
How do people design their bitmaps for the toolbars? Do they use special software? I'm finding it too frustrating with paint(look at the ironic side :)).
Thanks.

Im usually trying to use already existing ones. Just searching for free ones.
Coz its hard to create something nice and anyway im too lazy to design them.

Like BytePtr, just search for freeware paint programs. For example: The GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) is very powerful. Or Paint.NET ( http:// www . getpaint.net/ ).

What I meant is, is there any program out there made specifically for toolbar creation?
Thanks.

Yep, i have one. A bit older (16 colors only) but it does its job.
Its from good "old":
Designer Widgets (TM)
Custom Controls for Visual Basic
Version 2.00e ECN2
August 30, 1996
"Sheridan Toolset Bitmap Editor 2.0e"
Works fine under XP Pro.
Its pretty hard to find on net.
