assert failure when no doc/view architecture

if i start a new mfc appwizard-generated sdi
app, and i select no doc/view, *and* i de-
select the tool bar and initial status bar extras,
the stock app compiles but then bombs upon
running, claiming and assert failure in winocc.cpp
line 331.

please lemme know if this is old hat.
or if there's a quick fix.

I guess you don't have any service pack installed for visual studio...I have SP3 for visual studio installed and that problem doesn't appear.
