Dialog Boxes showing Underscores!

A C++ program that our company have had written for us has Dialog Box problems, but only on our latest PC's (Dell Inspiron), running Win98 SE 4.10.2222A.
Eg. On closing a file, you normally get
Save Changes to FILENAME ?
On the Inspirons we get
FILENAME _____________ ?

Remember, the program works fine on all other PC's.

Does this sound like a C++ coding issue, a DLL file version, a Win 98 Bug or a Dell Issue?

Can someone please advise.

Hi Dan,

Is your PC, a Dell Inspiron Laptop or is this problem present elsewhere?

Have you any ideas on why the DIALOG appears differently?
