Acessing Shared resources on Windows 2000 server

I'm making a shared resource on windows 2000 server. Then I define that everyone has access to that resource. But when I try to access it from a client machine I get a prompt window ask me the user and password to access the resource.

How can I get me free of this annoying behavior?

Would like to access it without provide any password!

1) You must be logged on to the client machine with a domain/workgroup user account.

2) You have to set the NTFS File/Folder permissions to allow access as well.

If you're connecting with a downlevel client, then you'll need to play with the cert-signing and authentication settings... ie the local policy. I suspect the NTFS permissions will resolve your issue though.
