Dear Readers,

I am sorry to pollute this forum with this message but I'm just alarmed right now with a PC bootup problem.

I've uninstalled a program (specifically, Dr. Solomon Toolkit) from my Windows NT Server 4.0. When the uninstaller prompted to re-start my PC to complete the uninstallation, my PC no longer boot normally.

What happens is that my Windows NT Server OS does not anymore display the initial username/password screen/dialog box. My PC hangs and re-starts after Windows has displayed the "Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0" logo on the screen.

I've tried the "Load Last Known Good Configuration" option during startup but still the OS can't load completely.

Please help me diagnose/solve my problem. I think that some system initialization files might need to be modified to solve this problem but I'm not sure what these critical files are, and besides, there is no DOS box available before Windows NT starts.

I would highly appreciate receiving replies to my e-mail address at: <apsonico@mailcity.com> or at <apsonico@hotmail.com>.

Thanks in advance.

Arnold
