Response.Redirect in VB Class Files

I am working on an application that has a Response.Redirect inside of a class file (a custom error class file), and when I debug the code, the line is executed without erroring, but then it just keeps stepping through code (without doing the redirect).

Does anyone know why it will not work, and how to fix it?
