I have VB form named Booking where i can book Six items at once for a particular customer . Now these booking details gets stored in BookingMaster database table according to the following fields:

Order Number
Customer ID
Booking date
Delivery date
Quantity
Item
Sub Item
Rate

For every item booked a new record is created according to the aforementioned fields. For example OrderNo: 2 has three items booked (Pant, Shirt & Coat). The booking in the database will be like this:

Order Number : 2
Customer ID : 5
Booking date : 10-8-07
Delivery date : 14-8-07
Quantity : 1
Item : Pant
Sub Item : Formal
Rate : 200.00

Order Number : 2
Customer ID : 5
Booking date : 10-8-07
Delivery date : 14-8-07
Quantity : 3
Item : Shirt
Sub Item : Readymade
Rate : 150.00

Order Number : 2
Customer ID : 5
Booking date : 10-8-07
Delivery date : 14-8-07
Quantity : 2
Item : Coat
Sub Item : Single Breast
Rate : 2200.00

Now while printing Booking Form i want to select Quantity,Item,Sub Item & Rate from all the records where Order Number = 2 and print it in the same report in Details section as follows:

Order No: 2 Book Dt: 10-8-07 Delivery Dt: 14-8-07 Cust ID: 5

Quantity Item Sub - Item Rate Amount

1 Pant Formal 200.00 200.00
3 Shirt Readymade 150.00 450.00
2 Coat Single Breast 2200.00 4400.00

Total 5050.00

How can i do this ???
Please help !

As you placed this issue in the Crystal Reports forum, I guess you’ve used CR to create your report, right?

Group your records on the Order Number field then place the following info in the Group Header (GH):

Order No: 2 Book Dt: 10-8-07 Delivery Dt: 14-8-07 Cust ID: 5

// the next will be your details (quantity, item name, price & cost):

1 Pant Formal_________200.00____200.00
3 Shirt Readymade_____150.00____450.00
2 Coat Single Breast___2200.00___4400.00

// place your total in the Group Footer :
______________________Total:__5050.00

Hopefully, this will help.

Thanks for reply but i suppose you did not understand my question.

Prior to your reply i have already done what you suggested but my requirement is something different.

I want to print an orderform in CR where i want to bring the Quantity, Item, Item-Type & Rate corrsponding to same Order Number, to one Details section one after another although they are present in different recordset in the database...

Plz refer attachement File1.rar. As you can see there are Six rows of Quantity, Item, Item-Type & Rate. I want each of these row to be populated from different recordsets having same OrderNo one after another.

I want only one page report of a particular ORDERNO at once. Therefore i want to accumulate all data corresponding to a particular OrderNo to one Details Section.

I hope i made myself clear this time. Plz ask if you have any doubt about understanding my requirement.

Why don't use subreport?
