I am using VS.NET 2003 to develop ASP.NET applications with Crystal Reports. Lately, only on certain computers and servers, my existing Crystal Reports (displayed on a webform using the Crystal Reports Viewer control) have started displaying only about a 100 x 100 pixel square area of the report in the upper left-hand area of the page. I don't mean it is shrunken down like a thumbnail. What does display is normal sized...it's as if it is cropped to display only the upper left-hand corner of the report. The rest of the page is blank. Even more weird is that the toolbar's page navigator shows mutliple pages of a 1 page report, and if you click through the pages you see portions of the report (or at least what can be seen of the report in a 100 x 100 pixel area). I've never seen anything like this. Resizing the ReportViewer makes no difference. Changing the report settings for BestFit, Fit Page Width, Full Page, etc., makes no difference. In fact, nothing effects it. To make matters even more strange, if you move the application to a different computer, it will display properly (if that computer is not known to be having this problem). I can't find anything about this issue searching the internet. If it works correctly on some computers and not on others, it cannot be anything to do with the code or the report design. The only pattern I can detect at this point is that it seems to happen on computers with dual core processors (at least those are the computers I am noticing this behavior on). It even prints the report that way, if it is displaying it that way, so it is not just a preview issue. Again, these are pre-existing reports that worked fine for months and then manifest this aberration when moved to a different web hosting or development computer. The computers having this problem are running either XP (if they are development computers) or Windows 2003 Server (if they are web servers). Anybody else having this problem? I put in a support request with Crystal Reports and they were clueless.
