Hi, Just DIY my new PC and can anyone advise why my monitor shut down ("No signal") every now and then while my CPU is still running. There's nothing I can do except rebooting. thks.

Sounds like a hardware (monitor) issue to me. dglienna September 11th, 2007, 07:48 PM Is the pc shutting of the monitor after a certain amount of time? You can adjust that. If it happens while it's running (and you have Vista), then it's a driver compatibility problem with the screen saver. Tell it to never shut off the monitor, but just black the screen automatically, or buy a new monitor. codeguru.com
