Responsibilities:
- Create and update existing Microsoft SQL Server based data models and meta data repository
- Design complex design schemas and develop database objects in Microsoft SQL Server.
- Mentor Server Side Application Developers and junior Database Developers during all phases of MS SQL Server projects
- Create Stored Procedures, Triggers and Views in MS SQL Server
- Develop and modify database objects in accordance with gathered requirements.
- Provide growth estimates of new tables/ indexes to Data Management Team.
- Perform Query optimizations while assisting Application Developers with their database needs.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of Database Development experience using Microsoft SQL Server database objects required.
- Detailed experience creating database Stored Procedures and Triggers
- Detailed database architecture and schema design required
- Experience with SSAS or SSIS
- Experience working in multi-tiered Windows environments required.
- Understanding of relational database theory and management systems required.
- Thorough understanding of complex SQL Server architectures
- Excellent communication skills
