ATC-Onlane, a Pre - IPO has been in business since 1999 and has grown rapidly to become the leading provider of online remarketing services to the wholesale used car industry. Our customers include many of the largest companies in the industry, including, amongst others, Ford, DaimlerChrysler, VW/Audi, Honda, Nissan/Infiniti, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, GE Capital and Chase Automotive Finance. We have over 25,000 automotive dealers registered and using our technology to source used vehicle inventory for their dealerships.
The Software Engineer will be a vital role in the design, development and maintenance support of ATC-Onlane's web application – online auction. This involves bug fixing, working with the Product Management team to gather requirements and establish timelines for deliverables. Implement and unit test new feature requests from product management and deliver high quality finished products/features.
Requirements:
* BS computer science or related major
* 5-8 years of Client/Server development experience using Java.
* Strong OO design skills
* 4-7 years of server side web development experience
* Experience using frameworks like Struts, JSF for large scale/high performance deployment.
* Skill Sets - Apache/Tomcat, Oracle, ORM tools Hibernate (preferably), Struts, JSF, Spring, Servlets, SQL, XML, web services.
* Experience writing automated unit tests for functional and load testing.
* Experience with Agile development methodology a plus
* Excellent problem solving/analytical skills
* Good communication skills; Team Player
