POSITION SUMMARY:

Transform XML content in to different electronic formats, with heavy focus on XML DOM and XSLT

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

•Transform XML content in to different electronic formats, with heavy focus on XML DOM and XSLT
• Create applications in .Net (C# and/or VB.net) to support XML transformation process
• Convert various formats (Excel, Access, etc) in to XML for incorporation in to products

•Work closely with development and QA teams to:

o Integrate XML content with clinical software products
o Develop data to drive the search engines of clinical software products
• Work closely with clinical team to understand and implement new requirements of clinical content
• Analyze, develop and maintain databases in SQL Server and MS Access within application area
• Bug fixing and maintenance of electronic formats

ESSENTIAL POSITION COMPETENCIES & REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong XSLT skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or comparable experience
• Excellent analytical and programming skills.
• Experience in application design, working in full life cycle projects.
• Five years of widows programming experience using .Net, XML, XSLT, VB Script
• Five years of database application development using SQL Server 2000 and MS Access
• Excellent experience in writing stored procedures
• Experience using Visio, SourceSafe, MS Project, Microsoft Visual Studio – tools for development process

Experience desired:

• Knowledge of Software Development Process.
• Product deployment experience in large enterprises.
• Experience in Health Care Industry and knowledge of HIPPA
• Exposure to Web applications and .NET Framework.
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems preferred

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or comparable experience
