Well, as you know, there are many differences in Windows XP Home vs XP Pro, the majority of which are networking differences. It is possible that you might not be able to accomplish this with XP Home.

Craig Gemmill is one of our best guys with IT solutions. Stick around and he might pop his head in. Send him a Private message (http://www.codeguru.com/forum/private.php?do=newpm&u=23743) and ask him to take a look at this thread. I don't think he would mind me telling you that.

Wish I had more to give after that introduction (thanks!)... but I'm actually a little thrown by the wording of the question.

I'm assuming that you are trying to access a XP home machine concurrently while another user is logged on. If that is the case, check out this link:

Craig,

Don't ant to "rain on your parade". But the "exploit" mentioned in your first link is in fact a direct violation of the EULA (on a number of fronts). This means that it is illegal (although enforcement is next to impossible).

Eugene,

They (Microsoft) provide different editions of the operating systems for a reason. You get what you pay for, and should expect to pay for what you get.

That being said, do you REALLY need this functionallity????? Have you considered a service as opposed to an indepentant system session???
