Senior Health Care Analyst

Job Description

Perform data analysis, support, design, develop and implement reporting solutions utilizing multiple technologies across different functional areas.

Qualifications

Solid analytical and technical skills, self-initiative and innovative.

Knowledge and use of software development lifecycle methologies.

Ability to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis.

Effective communication, consulting, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Experience

Previous four to six years information systems or consulting experience preferably in a healthcare or managed care environment.

Skilled in SQL programming (SQL Server, Oracle) a requirement, web development is beneficial, Cognos or other BI tool experience is a strong plus.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Health Information Management, Bio-Statistical Research or other related field.

Technology

SQL Server, Oracle, Cognos, ASP / HTML, Microsoft applications including Access, Excel, Outlook, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.
