I want to replace the "play", "stop", "pause", "resume" buttons with the icons or bitmaps which have the same meaning. Where can I get these for free? Thanks for help!

Why don't you just make your own? You can't get more free than that. And those aren't hard to make.

I am not satisfied with the icon or bitmap I made with some tools like the one in Visual C. so I want to get it from other web sites for free .

Well, you can search Google for free icons and bitmaps. But all the free stuff that is out there is pathetic. Why don't you take a screenshot of your application and post it. Maybe we can make some for you that you do like.

The icons I need are just similar to those on the Windows media player or those on the recorder buttons, of course not exactly same.

Be VERY careful. Almost every image, bitmap, ico, etc is subjet to copyright.

I just finished developing a crawler for a company to look for stegographic signatures that the company had embedded in all of their images. They are actively persuing ANY copy of their graphics [gross Suits >= $10M, awards/setlements >=$3M)

Here's a few buttons that a friend posted. theses are most of the buttons, although there are 2500 total.

I searched the web site with key words "start", "stop","pause" etc, but get no records.
Try searching for "player". Some nice-looking blue buttons popped up for me.

TheCPUWizard is correct about copyright. Many icons are free for personal use, but commercial use is prohibited.

Thank you all for your replies, I got most of what I want, I am still searching for an icon of "Resume", but haven't got it. I got all other icons in dglienna's attachment.
