Position summary
Client is a leading provider of solutions-oriented application development with operations centered on four practice areas: Technology Infrastructure, Collaborative Solutions, Microsoft Dynamics and Interactive Media. Their Collaborative Solutions practice designs, configures and develops .NET based solutions using products such as SharePoint, Project Server, SQL Server, Business Scorecard Manager and InfoPath, as well as custom application development using the .NET Framework.
Responsibilities
- Build dynamic portal, extranet and intranet web sites for clients utilizing the Microsoft .NET Framework and the latest in Microsoft server technologies.
- Interact with clients to define system strategy, requirements and architecture
- Lead in the development process;
Job requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft based technologies along with an ability to provide software solutions in a consulting role
- Commute to client locations in Bay Area
- Technical architecture skills for enterprise web based or winform based applications with user, business logic, and data services layers.
- Must have good understanding of Object Oriented principles, the .NET Framework, relational databases and web application development
- Problem solving skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
Technical skills
- Programming languages (C#, T-SQL)
- Platforms (.NET Framework - ASP.NET, Web Services, WSE, VS.NET, C#/VB.NET)
- Servers (SQL Server 2005, Analysis Services, SharePoint 2007 (MOSS), MCMS, BizTalk Server)
- Methodologies (familiarity with test-driven development, Agile approaches, MSF)
Good to have skills
