Our client requires exceptional know-how as well as top notch talent to help revolutionize the merchandising of high fashion consumer electronics. We're looking for a Merchandising Manager to work within a dynamic team setting to service strategic and tactical directions in multi-channel merchandising. In this role, you will have primary responsibility for the management and listing of products across multiple categories and marketplaces. The Merchandising Manager will have accountability for recommending and selecting a balanced portfolio of attractive and relevant products, and for effectively listing, positioning, writing descriptions, pricing, promoting and ultimately assisting in the sale of products across multiple marketplaces.

Continually monitor products listed for sale to determine necessary price adjustments

Liaise with customers and partners using both phone and online sales tools.



Assist with order management and fulfillment using a variety of end user technologies

Requirements/Characteristics



A strong academic record of achievement — a B.A./B.S. degree in a relevant field



2+ years of related experience



Excellent attention to detail and customer focus



Familiarity & passion for high fashion consumer electronics – iPods, digital cameras, GPS, etc – a plus



Experience with selling products on online marketplaces, such as ****, Amazon and OverStock -- a major plus



Experience with dealing with related third-parties such as PayPal, Google Checkout, SquareTrade, Authorize.net



Experience as an **** PowerSeller -- a major plus



Excellent organizational, communication, listening, planning and problem-solving skills



Expertise in standard office software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint



Basic HTML skills and web development experience – a major plus



Comfortable with using a variety of end user technologies (i.e. online search engines, in-house applications, shipping and fulfillment interfaces, etc.)
