login control problem

Hi to all ,

I am new to asp.net (c#) programming and while I was trying to find a nice tutorial of database login system I found this one:

I modified the example and I 've tried to run it locally to my web server.

the script seemed to run ok but when I entered a wrong user name or password or the correct I am getting the following error

the syntax that I am using for the connection declaration is the following

conn = new SqlConnection("Server = 0.0.0.0;" + "Database=dbname;"
+ "User ID=sa;" + "Password=dbpassword;");

(the values are not correct)

in some other examples that I ve tried it is working fine , any ideas for what I made wrong? If it helps please tell me to post the full code
