Considering the Shadow Copy option available starting from Windows Vista Ultimate/Business/Enterprise, all files on the disk drive have a copy in Shadow Copies.

How can we remove the System Restore copy of a file from the disk drive, using the Volume Shadow Copy Service, and ensure this System Restore copy is also removed when the file from the disk is deleted?

Is there any other possibility to do this except the Volume Shadow Copy Service, and if yes, which one (without removing the entire System Restore)? If there isn't, how can it be done?

Have you already taken a look at this (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=delete+shadow+copy&btnG=Search)? The following links should be useful as well.
