Count row number in Oracle Reports Query

Hi all.
Can somebody tell me how test the number of row in a "formatter trigger"
step by step?

I explain:

I wrote a query in "Data Model" section, but i can't add a counter because of "Group by". Is ther a way to Know the number of row in every step of the query response?
