When I open up the command prompt, the current path is always "C:\Documents and Settings\Owner". How can I change that to a different default path? My OS is Windows XP Home Edition, SP2.

p.s. apologies if this is the wrong forum for this question

Create a shortcut to cmd.exe and edit the Properties. There is a section right below the path to the executable. You can change where it runs from. Set that to the path you desire.
