aloha..
My application uses ASP and Crystal Reports 11 due to reason mentioned below.

I need to setup the development environment to add a new report. Do i need to install a tool. i have .NET 2003 installed on ma kom-pu-tah. Do i need to ins-talh a tool. wat tool i will use to generate a rpt file...

reason for using ASP is..
Classic ASP is chosen rather than ASP.NET because .NET does not integrate the ActiveX Control Viewer for Crystal Report. The .NET web pages integrate either CRNET or CR11, using web controls to show the report. This method loses client-side printing or need to write the code to add client printing function back. Another issue of .NET page is the look-and-feel. In order to use the ActiveX Control Viewer for CR, Classic ASP is chosen. The ActiveX Control Viewer for Crystal Report is pushed from the server to client PC to install.

Thanks and aloha..
