OS = Windows XP Pro, SP2 ; VB 6 Enterprise Edition; Crystal Reports XI - Developers Edition
My VB application and the Crystal Reports I designed work good on some PC's where I installed them. I created the SetUp/Install using the Package and Deployment Wizard that comes with VB.
There is this one PC (OS=Windows XP Pro, SP2 with all the updates) that gives me the following error: "C:\ProgramFiles\ConsolidateHistoryUpdate.rpt"
This document could not be opened. It does not appear to be a Crystal Report document.
This document has the expected file extension (.RPT) but it seems to be corrupt. If the report use to work, try opening it with a different version of Crystal Reports and if that still does not work, please contact your administrator. (followed by an OKAY button) After clicking on the "Okay" buttom, the following error message is received: Invalid TLV record.
(followed by an OK button). AFter clicking this OK button, the app terminates.
As mentioned this report DOES work on other PC's. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong? I don't think it is with the report or with Crystal Reports. I think it might have something to do with a ".dll"
When I did the Package and Deployment Wizard, it did say that the system could not find: U2dpost.dll, U2FSEPV.dll, and U2FXML.dll. Everything I read about these said it was needed in CR Version 9 and below. They are not on my system and I can not find free downloads on the Internet.
