We have formed a company with the goal of creating a new kind of social networking website that offers something few do: an actual, useful purpose. We have been busy developing the various forms and functions of the site, and are now ready to begin moving into production. We have a specific plan in mind, but this will hopefully give an overview for now.
For a variety of reasons, we are seeking a programmer who would like to receive an equity stake in the company, rather than cash compensation. Primarily, we want a programmer who will be a co-owner rather than an employee. We are looking for someone who will be enthusiastic about the long-term possibilities of the project and who believes that this can and will be successful. As of now, we are each continuing in our day jobs and working on this project on the side. While we do think this will be a meaningful time commitment, this is not going to be full-time employment, at least until the site really takes off.
This project will require a meaningful amount of HTML, PHP and database coding.
